Well, it’s officially that time again. The time when we make grand resolutions that are supposed to drastically change our lives for the better—but often, we set goals that are too big. We fall off our chosen path and give up by the end of Q1. So this year, let’s do it differently.
Let’s focus on small changes that make a big impact when we stick with them consistently.
Health comes from movement, diet, supplements, and lifestyle. Let’s look at a few simple changes we can make to improve our health this year.

Supplements:

As a mom going into a new year, I’ve learned that small, consistent choices make the biggest difference—especially when it comes to my health. That’s why I’ve been reaching for the Micro Ingredients Pure Methylated Multivitamin Complex and keeping it part of my daily routine. What really drew me in is that it’s a true methylated formula, meaning the vitamins are already in their active, bioavailable forms. Unlike regular vitamins that your body has to convert first, methylated vitamins are easier to absorb and use right away, which can make a noticeable difference in how you feel over time.
This 19-in-1 multivitamin covers so many bases with active forms of vitamins A, C, D3, E, and a full B-complex including methylfolate and methylcobalamin (B12). After taking these consistently, I’ve noticed more steady energy, better focus during busy days, and healthier-looking skin—things that matter so much when you’re juggling family, work, and everything in between. I also appreciate that it includes supportive minerals for overall energy, immune, heart, and brain health, without any fillers or unnecessary ingredients.
What gives me the most peace of mind is knowing these are made with clean, non-GMO ingredients, free from common allergens, and third-party tested for purity and potency. As a mom trying to feel her best in the new year, this feels like a simple, trustworthy way to support my body and fill in nutritional gaps—without overcomplicating my routine. The best part, you can get this 120 day supply for only $21.56 on Amazon. That works out to about $0.18 per day and it’s worth every penny.
Now if you prefer a gummy vitamin, I recommend Neviss Methylated multivitamin for men and women. This one delivers similar benefits in a liquid form encapsulated in a chewable gel. I’ve tried both, I prefer the capsules but I have friends that find it easier to take gummy vitamins because they’re more delicious. These are currently on sale for $21.45 on Amazon.
Working out:
We should think of our bodies like a high-performance engines: it wasn’t built to sit in the garage; it was designed to run. When we move, we aren’t just burning calories—we are literally “flushing” our internal systems. Movement acts as a natural pump for the lymphatic system, which helps clear out waste and keeps your immune system sharp. It strengthens the heart, allowing it to circulate oxygen more efficiently to every cell, and places healthy stress on your bones to keep them dense and strong as you age.
But the benefits of movement aren’t just physical. On a chemical level, movement is one of the most effective ways to regulate your mood. When you move, your brain releases a cocktail of “feel-good” chemicals like endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin that act as a natural antidote to stress and anxiety. It also stimulates neuroplasticity, helping your brain form new connections that keep your memory and focus sharp. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a deep stretch, or a full workout, every bit of motion tells your body it’s time to repair, renew, and thrive. And while movement is the most crucial key to a healthier you, it’s probably probably the hardest one to stick too unless you have a very set schedule. As a single mom who has the kids 7 days a week and work, I don’t have a lot of free time to go to the gym so I have to find other ways to get my work out in.
One of the easiest way to do this is by turning my daily activities into work outs with wrist and ankle weights. After wearing them for over 1/2 hour you do feel the effort even though they are low weights. Cooking, vacuuming, dusting? Add some wrist weights on and turn it into an arm work out.
I use this three-pair incremental set (0.5 lb, 1 lb, and 2 lb), which is only $49.99 on Amazon.
Another at home work out I like to do is cycle. I have a stationary bike inconveniently placed in my living room stationed directly in front my tv. When I’m watching my favorite shows I hop on for an episode. I do recommend getting a bike with a very comfortable seat as an uncomfortable seat can deter you from hopping on as frequently.
Using a stationary bike in my home has reduced my couch potato hours and increased my movement which is a big factor I’m working on this year. This bike is currently on sale ($80 OFF) on Amazon.

If you’re looking for something more economical or do not have as much space there are these pedal exercise equipment that you can use under your desk if you work from home or with any chair. They do not take up much space and are only $27.99. You can adjust the resistance and use these for both an arm and leg work out.
Personally, I need the bike. If I had to take something out and set it up every time, I wouldn’t use it nearly as often. I like having something that’s always there and ready to go—but maybe you have better discipline than I do.
Another thing I use to keep me on track is my samsung watch. It track my physical activities and sleep automatically. It has great sensing technology, it is able to tell if I’m swimming or walking without me doing anything. You can also log activities if doesn’t automatically figure out what you’re doing.

But the best part is that I use the step counter and join their community’s monthly step challenge and compete with friends using the together feature in the app to push myself to add steps. The leader board automatically updates so you can see in real time when your friends are catching up to you or if you are getting ahead of the competition.
My goal this year is to lose 30lbs, let’s hope incorporating healthier habits into daily life works better than the many failed crash diets I’ve tried in the past. I just love good food too much to starve or eat boring food.
Stay healthy,
-Avi.
