Today I’m going to tell you all about the Loyo Company. I discovered this company on instagram and I’m happy I had the opportunity to work with them. I was able to try their AHA face serum and Angel Face creams and it was quite the experience!

The Loyo Company was founded by Justine, a former high school teacher. Their tale is one of risking it all for the job you love. And we should all be happy that Justine took that risk because our faces will be grateful. As stated on their website, “[t]he Loyo Company is all about empowering people to be the best version of themselves they can be and not someone else’s unattainable idea of beautiful.” And I deeply appreciate company’s that promote self love.

Angel Face Anti Aging Moisturizer

Angel Face contains a powerful anti-aging peptide punch with super ingredient, Matrixyl 3000 which helps plump up your skin and reduce the look of fine lines. Matrixyl 3000 is made with palmitoyl-tripeptide and palmitoyl-oligopeptide and should not be confused with Matrixyl which is made with palmitoyl-pentapeptide 3 which stimulates collagen synthesis and skin repair. Palmitoyl-tripeptide and palmitoyl-oligopeptide work synergistically to mimic the appearance of this broken down collagen,which makes your skin react by producing more collagen, as well as elastin. With this ingredient Angel Face stimulates your skin to produce collagen and promotes skin repair. I used it at night as an over night cream. I personally prefer to use anti-aging or anti-wrinkle creams at night, this way they stay on for 5+ hours and are not washed out with sweat or weakened by makeup or sunscreen.

AHA Exfoilating Serum

As we all know I have very dry skin so I always moisturize (24hrs a day), on days that I was not wearing makeup I used the AHA Exfoilating serum to moisturize. If I did wind up wearing make up I would apply it at least half hour after the AHA serum so that I’m sure it was fully absorbed in it’s purest form into my skin. The Aha Exfoiliating Serum is made with anti-aging alpha hydroxy glycolic acid (AHA), which is nature’s exfoliator. This helps to make your skin firmer and aids in moisture retention. After using it, your complexion should look brighter, smoother and you should have more even tone.

My experience:

Angel face is my favorite. I loved it! It was a smooth breathable cream. It was so light that it even feels wrong to call it a cream. The only other face cream that I have used that was this light was Clinque Dramatically different moisturizer. I have been using the clinque moisturize for years, during which I developed all of my fine lines, wrinkles and discoloration. After using the Angel face & Aha serum combo for over 2 weeks I have visibly smoother skin and clearer skin tone. The best part, my face is super hydrated and soft. I recently blogged about the Lancome Visionnaire Crescendo Peel which is one of my favourite anti- wrinkle products on the market. What sets this combo apart from the Lancome Visionnaire Crescendo Peel is that it does not dry out your skin in the process. As can be inferred from the name, the Lancome Visionnaire Crescendo Peel works by peeling off the damaged skin. While it provides fast result, it can be inconvenient to have peeling skin on your face for 7+ days. The Angel Face & Aha exfoilating serum combo may be a better alternative for working girls who have to keep their appearance on par. The results take longer than with the Lancome Visionnnaire Cresendo Peel but it always takes longer to fix a problem than to remove it.
